Job Title: Budget Analyst

Job Description:

• The Budget Analyst will play a critical role in supporting budget formulation and execution for the National Military Financial Services Corporation (NMFSC). The primary responsibilities include:

Budget Formulation and Execution Support:

• Regular tracking of budget execution data to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Preparation of management reports to display budget execution data, providing insights and analysis.
• Assisting Government budget analysts in the preparation of budget exhibits, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Providing analytical expertise to support NMFSC's decision-making capability, including forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Documenting budgetary support activities in the Monthly Budget Report, maintaining comprehensive records for audit and review purposes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in budget analysis or financial management, preferably in a government or large organizational setting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel, SAP, or similar programs.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
